Penpushing Media, a renowned owner of online newspapers and television, has been honored with a prestigious global award known as the ‘Humanitarian Excellence Awards.’ The ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 18, 2023, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The confirmation letter, signed by Mr. Mike Hill, the Adjudication Coordinator of The Leading Women of Africa (LWA) Group, stated that the event is the second edition of the Africa Partnership for Growth (APG) Symposium. The letter further highlighted that Penpushing Media successfully passed through the rigorous adjudication process and was deemed highly qualified for the award.
Penpushing Media has been recognized for its significant contributions in uplifting women across the globe, leading the Africa Partnership for Growth (APG) to acknowledge and honor their remarkable efforts.
The official Awards ceremony, as mentioned in the confirmation dated September 27, 2023, will be held at the magnificent Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg on the evening of November 18, 2023.
The letter expressed the significance of receiving an award on behalf of the women of Africa, stating, “It means that women have seen your efforts to uplift them, and now they have decided to recognize you and acknowledge your works.”
The Leading Women of Africa (LWA) Group, responsible for the awards, highlighted the benefits of the accolade, including the recognition and celebration of the contribution of men in women’s development, raising the regional and international profile of awardees, and offering high-level media exposure.
Notable past recipients of the award include His Excellency Macky Sall, the President of Senegal, Mr. Phumulo Masualle, Premier of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Amoudi, the Chairman and Owner of Midroc, Ethiopia, Dickson Mugendi D. Ntwiga, Founder and CEO of the Solidarity Community Based Organization in Kenya, and Mr. Armand Claude Abanda from the African Institute of Computer Sciences based in Cameroon.
